New to SciFi2Go? This is the shortest route from wanting something good to read or watch, to actually picking it.

SciFi2Go is a science fiction discovery magazine. It is not a news site and it is not a review mill.

The whole job is narrow on purpose: help you find your next book or film faster, and tell you honestly whether it is worth your time. No score out of ten, no five hundred word plot summary, no verdict you could have guessed from the cover.

Three ways in

Science Fiction Books. Guides to the books that built the genre and the ones still arriving, from Dune and the Culture series to whatever is worth reading this month.

Science Fiction Movies. The films that defined the look of the future, plus the ones that got it wrong, and why.

Science Fiction Concepts. The ideas underneath the stories. Faster than light travel, artificial intelligence, generation ships, and what they would actually mean.

How we choose what to cover

  • An honest verdict, up front. You get the conclusion before the reasoning, so you can decide in ten seconds whether the rest is worth your evening.
  • Spoiler light by default. We tell you what you need in order to decide, not what happens in act three.
  • Original artwork. Every guide carries art made for it rather than a studio still or a poster.
  • Nothing sponsored. No publisher pays for a verdict here. Ever.

How this site makes money

SciFi2Go is reader supported and independent. If you buy a book or film through a link on this site, we may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra and it does not change the verdict. The site runs on that reader support and nothing else: no sponsored verdicts, no ads, no paywall.
