Who we work with
SciFi2Go is a participant in the Amazon Associates programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon. We participate in both Amazon.com and Amazon.in.
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
What that means in practice
- The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go to the retailer directly.
- The commission comes from the retailer, out of their margin, not from you.
- A link being an affiliate link does not mean we recommend it. We link to things we have already decided are worth your time.
What it does not mean
- No publisher pays for a verdict. Not now, and if it ever changes it will be labelled clearly on the page itself.
- No sponsored reviews dressed up as opinion. If we ever publish a paid placement it will say so at the top of the page, in the same size text as the article.
- No ranking for sale. Where a guide lists titles, the order reflects our judgement, not a commission rate.
Why we do it at all
SciFi2Go is independent and reader supported. There is no advertising network, no sponsor and no parent company. The site runs on affiliate commissions and the email list, and on nothing else.
That is the whole model, stated plainly. If it ever changes, this page changes first.
